The Nurse is primarily responsible for promoting and protecting the health of all students and staff, under the supervision of the PEL Principal, with the assistance of the Health Officer. The Nurse will be formally evaluated at least once annually by supervisors.

Responsibilities:
* Provides clinical assessment and treatment for all injured or ill students and staff, acting quickly and with good judgment to provide necessary and correct emergency medical treatment to students and staff
* Contributes to the control of communicable disease through immunization record keeping, tuberculosis screening, and the surveillance and isolation of students with contagious diseases
* Collaborates with parents to arrange routines for children requiring daily medications, notifying parents if routines are not being met by the students
* Works with special services staff to help students with special needs
* Provides health assessments to children for vision, hearing, scoliosis, and growth development. Notify faculty and staff of children needing special medical attention or with medical concerns
* Maintains a clean, organized working environment with a clear understanding of infection control. Keep precise records and charting of clinical interactions
* Collaborates with Athletic and Activity Directors to provide adequate first aid supplies and support for field trips and special events
* Attends overnight field trips
* Works closely with Physical Education Department to assist with the prevention and treatment of sport injuries
* Keeps inventory of nursing supplies and all equipment. Recommends and requisitions needed supplies for the nurse’s office
* Keeps informed with up-to-date, pertinent medical information
Requirements:
* Indonesian citizen
* Degree in Nursing as evidenced by certificates of training
* At least two years experience in a clinical setting.
* Certificates of First Aid and CPR training required
* Proficiency in English to the degree which ensures adequate communication with an international student body
* Ability to use computers is desirable
* Knowledge or experience in childhood psychology and development is desirable
